Cristales 03 explores the interplay between transparency, colour and geometric form. Translucent planes overlap and intersect, creating new colours and shapes as the eye moves across the composition. What initially appears precise and structured gradually becomes fluid and unstable — a study of how perception changes according to position, light and context.
Part of MUMA's Cristales series, the work uses the crystal as a metaphor for contemporary perception: something capable of reflecting, refracting and fragmenting reality. Rather than presenting geometry as something fixed, the composition invites a slower look at the relationships between colour, space and form.
